Unlike the previous week when she sat & kicked (to come up just short of winning), Elizabeth Merill
goes out very aggressively. Molina, followed by Martens and Alchin, close the gap by 400m. Only Molina stays close
in lap 2 before taking over the lead coming off the final turn. Meanwhile further back Alchin passes Martens. Both Molina
and Alchin would gradually expand their leads over the closest competitors in lap three and even more in lap four.
