COLLEGE MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY 

GVC Championships 

Butte's Cesar Silva won the 4-mile race in Oroville in 21 minutes, 39 seconds, leading the Roadrunners to 
the Golden Valley Conference title over Shasta and Yuba. 

All of Butte's top six finished in the top seven to make all-conference, including Manuel Ventura (22:30) 
in second, Ryan Matz (22:48) in third, Zachariah Schliehting (24:11) in fifth, Zachary Dickens (24:34) in 
sixth, and Carlos Velasco (24:43) in seventh. 


COLLEGE WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY 

GVC Championships 

Butte won the three-team Golden Valley Conference title, led by Tanya Bowers in second place, who ran 
the 3-mile course in Oroville in 20 minutes, 38 seconds. 

Also making all-conference for Butte were Alanna Scheer (21:05) in fourth, Cori Eden (21:14) in fifth, 
and Michelle Cohen (21:40) in seventh. Sharon Tenorio (21:57) was ninth.
