Frank wins easily over Ross, Galvez and Erro, a distant second, third and fourth while the rest
of the field is sucking too much wind to muster anything more than a jog at the finish.

Peacock leads a tightly bunched field over the first 1200m. A surge in lap four by Peacock breaks
up the field. Steady pacing by Peacock enlarges his lead over the final mile for a comfortable
win. Shillington and McIntyre catch Martinez with a lap to go. A strong finish gives Shillington
second while a rallying Martinez nips McIntyre for third.

A strong opening lap by the Enterprise contingent strings out the field. Another strong lap
by James is matched only by Menard as Hoppe, Roberts and Harvey drop back. The pace slows in
lap three but James still manages to put some daylight between herself and her teammate. Both
struggle on the final lap but James’ lead proves insurmountable although a strong finish by
Hoppe takes her by Menard for second.

Quinn and Menard run a strong first lap, nevertheless the entire field remains close. Quinn
proves to be the stronger runner, pulling away from Menard over the final 200m for an easy win.
Lees pulls away from a struggling Peterson who somehow manages to hold off a fast closing Belle
for the final spot at the section championships.

Hoppe, setting the pace, leads a tight race through the mile. First Harvey, then James and finally
Whitlow are dropped over the next two laps. Hoppe, extending her lead in lap seven, wins comfortably.
A strong kick by James on the final lap takes her by Whitlow for second.

but falls behind Kieser and Shaw who take control in lap three. A strong last lap gives the
win to Shaw.

middle portion of the race. A superior final circuit takes Campbell by Plummer for the win.
Plummer holds on for second while his teammate Thompson out kicks Edsall for third.

Robberson takes the early lead with all but Young and Hite-Smith remaining close through two
laps. Robberson’s pace drops Tenorio, Shaw and Medearis in lap three and Kieser blows a gasket
a lap later. Moravec, hangs off of Robberson’s shoulder, through six but takes over in seven as
Yreka runner’s pace slows. A strong final lap gives the Viking an easy victory. Kudos to
Hite-Smith who ran the race with one arm in a cast and sling.

Ogden and Carroll do the leading chores for the first mile with Matz and Edsall tucked in behind.
Ogden takes control after the mile pulling his teammate with him. Carroll drops to third then
fourth in his struggles to stay with the lead pack. A strong final 800 gives Ogden an easy win.
Carroll rallies on the final lap to pass Edsall and closes well on Matz to take third.

Too many place changes and unfamiliarly with runners to do accurate accounting of the race.
First lap the field came through 60-65 seconds with Rodriguez leading. Plummer and Thompson
make a move early in the final lap but then fade and finish 4th and 5th respectively.
