Barnett leads Chico girls track win

Chico 100, Paradise 12

Kasey Barnett won the long jump, triple jump and ran on the winning 400-meter relay team as the Chico High girls 
track and field team defeated Paradise Wednesday in Chico. Kody Atkins won the 400 and 800 and was on the 
winning 1,600 relay team for Chico. Carolyn Kurnizki won the 100 hurdles and was on the 400 relay team, and 
Raeanne Bertagna won the 200 and also ran a leg in the winning 1,600 relay.

Analy Nava won the 3,200 for Chico, Taylor Falcon won the discus and Megan Cochran won the high jump.

Chico 103, Paradise 17

Corrie Emmons won the 300-meter hurdles (40.7 seconds), the triple jump (42 feet, 1 inch) and the 200 (23.8) as 
the Panthers won 14 of 15 events at home.

Jason Weinrich won the 110 hurdles (17.3) and the high jump (6-0), Tyler Lamott won the discus (140-11) and the 
shot put (39-9), Jaquan Sayers won the 100 (11.8) and the long jump (18-7), and Dan Parker won the 400 (52.1) and 
the 3,200 (10:17.4).
