PREP GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY 

Chico 23, Pleasant Valley 32 

Hannah Dillard was victorious in a battle between two of the Eastern Athletic League's top runners as the Panthers 
knocked off the rival Vikings on the 3.05-mile course at Hooker Oak Recreation Area. 

Dillard lifted Chico (7-0 EAL) by topping the field with a 17-minute, 27-second effort. Pleasant Valley standout 
Hannah Hodgkinson took second place in 18:20. 

The Panthers also received crucial performances from Michelle Johnson, who crossed third in 18:56, and Leah Arreguin's 
fourth-place finish in 19:16. Kimberly Fawns rounded out the top five by finishing 20:13 for the Vikings (5-2). 

Brittany O'Regan (6th), Emily Odgen (PV) 7th, Kiara Reed (9th after a nice kick around 2 PV competitors). Kelly Harris,
with a heavily taped leg, returned to competition and finished 12th.

Tanner Hickman came up big for the Vikings with the fastest individual finish, but the Panthers had seven runners among 
the top 10 on the 3.05-mile course at Hooker Oak Recreation Area to pick up the Eastern Athletic League win. 

Hickman's first-place run for Pleasant Valley (4-3 EAL) came in 15 minutes, 56 seconds. Tom Walker was second for Chico 
(7-0) in 16:49 while teammates Henry Naas (17:02) and Clayton Baumgartner (17:07) were third and fourth, respectively. 

Brian Santich was fifth for the Vikings in 17:12. Chico's Phil Graber, Richard McGoldrick, Matt Stansbury and Tom Whittington 
all finished in the top 10 to help the Panthers prevail
