PREP BOYS CROSS COUNTRY Wednesday October 18, 2006 Pleasant Valley 20, Paradise 38 Pleasant Valley's Tanner Hickman cruised to victory, running the 3-mile DeSabla Reservoir course in Paradise in 15 minutes, 49 seconds, and the Vikings (4-2 Eastern Athletic League) had five of the first seven finishers to win the dual meet. PV's other scoring runners were Brian Santich in third place (17:38), Roy Helms in fourth (17:44), Dustin Gilbs in fifth (17:55) and Joshua Burns in seventh (18:25). Paradise was paced by Michael Baggett, who placed second and finished in 17:34. Rounding out the Bobcats' scorers were Brendon Banwell in sixth (18:05), Tate Montgomery in eighth (18:26), Kenny Skillman in 10th (18:37) and Allen Nicoara in 12th (19:17). PREP GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY Pleasant Valley 15, Paradise 44 Kimberley Fawns led the Vikings' sweep of Paradise with a time of 20 minutes, 33 seconds over the 3-mile DeSabla Reservoir course. Emily Odgen was second for Pleasant Valley (5-1 Eastern Athletic League) in 20:47, Staheli Meyer (20:57) was third, Kelsey O'Sullivan (21:02) was fourth and Mariah Atkin (21:02) was fifth overall. The Bobcats were led by Stevi Dewell, who finished sixth in 21:03.
