The Tigers powered to a win in their dual meet with the Vikings, beginning with a first-place finish 
from Russell Brandt, who finished the 3.1-mile course at Hooker Oak in 17 minutes, 44 seconds.

Brandt was followed by teammate Nate Inkman (18:28) in second and Dylan Geltz (18:30) in third.

PREP GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Pleasant Valley 23, Oroville 32

Led by Melanie Hickman, who ran Hooker Oak's 3.1-mile course in 22 minutes, 4 seconds, the Vikings 
bested the Tigers in the two teams' first dual meet of the year.

Oroville's Rosy Reyes (22:14) earned a second-place finish, while Pleasant Valley's Jessica Canchola 
(22:18) followed in third.
